Get the scoring console ready before first pitch.
- Navigate to My Games and find your assigned game.
- Tap "Open Scoring Console" — this locks you in as the active scorekeeper.
- Verify the lineup for both teams is loaded. If missing, tap "Edit Lineup".
- Confirm the home/away team order and starting pitcher for each side.
- Tap "Start Game" when the umpire signals play ball.
Log at-bat outcomes accurately and efficiently.
- The batter at the plate is highlighted automatically.
- After each pitch, tap the outcome button: Ball, Strike, or Foul.
- After the at-bat ends, select the result: Single, Double, Triple, HR, Out, Walk, HBP, K, etc.
- For outs, specify the type (fly out, ground out, line out) and fielders involved.
- Use the undo button (⌘Z or back arrow) if you log a play incorrectly.
Record pitch counts and types for both pitchers.
- Pitch count is tracked automatically as you log balls and strikes.
- To record pitch type, tap the pitch type selector before logging the outcome.
- Available types: Fastball, Curveball, Slider, Changeup, Cutter, Other.
- Pitch speed is optional — enter it if a radar gun is available.
- When a pitcher change occurs, tap "Pitching Change" and select the reliever.
Submitting a Scorecard

Finalize and submit your scorecard at game end.
- After the final out, tap "End Game" in the scoring console.
- Review the final score and inning-by-inning summary.
- Check that all innings are complete and no errors are flagged in red.
- Add any game notes in the comments field (optional).
- Tap "Submit Scorecard" — the game status will change to Submitted.
Common Errors & Fixes

What to do when things go sideways.
- "Game already locked": Another scorekeeper is active. Contact your league admin.
- "Lineup not found": The teams have not set their lineups yet. Wait or contact the coach.
- "Inning mismatch": An inning ended without 3 outs recorded. Use the edit panel to correct.
- "Score not saving": Check your internet connection. Scores auto-save; tap retry if the icon is red.
- "Submitted but still shows In Progress": Refresh the page. If it persists, re-submit.
